I am relaunching the bobbymcbrideblog to reflect my most passionate passion. METAL DETECTING! I recently moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee and have been blown away by the history here. Major civil war battles and skirmishes happened on the very ground I live on and for dozens and dozens of miles in all directions. Several months ago I purchased a very highly regarded metal detector by Minelab, one of the leading companies making high end detectors, and have been unable to NOT find relics of all sorts everywhere I search. From wonderful old coins from the 1800′s to fantastic old farm and settlement relics to mindblowing Civil War relics dropped and fired by both Union troops and my wonderful rebel heroes.
