1945-P LARGE CENT

 MY FIRST LARGE CENT COIN WHICH WAS DUG IN A LARGE PASTURE BETWEEN MURFREESBORO AND FRANKLIN, TN IS AN 1845-P ‘BRAIDED HAIR’ CENT IN EXCELLENT DUG CONDITION. FOR THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE LARGE CENT THEY WERE PRODUCED BETWEEN 1793 AND 1857 WHEN IT WAS REPLACED WITH THE CURRENT SIZED COIN COMMONLY CALLED THE ‘PENNY’. THE LARGE CENT WAS BETWEEN 27 AND 29 mm IN SIZE (ALMOST AS LARGE AS A COMMON QUARTER DOLLAR. FOR MORE INFO ON THE LARGE CENT SEE THE FOLLOWING LINK:
